“MOBILITY” has become a red hot term these days. Many organizations are increasingly prioritizing the need to mobilize their workforce, their websites and their services. And if your Mobile is smart it can do wonders to you. Android makes it possible though. Android devices gives you that extra edge to perform tasks at a great speed which save your time. Let us see in deep what actually Android is??
Android is a mobile operating system (OS) currently developed by Google, based on the Linux kernel and designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Android’s user interface is based on various touch gestures that loosely correspond to real-world actions, such as swiping, tapping and pinching, to manipulate on-screen objects, along with a virtual keyboard for text input.
Android comes in different verions and its updates. The following names are used for the currently existing Android releases. Note that versions 1.0 and 1.1 were not publicly named. However, Android 1.1 was internally referred to as “Petit-Four” (noted in Traroth’s answer, confirmed here):
Froyo: (short for “frozen yogurt”)

Android devices (mobile) has over the years replaced many electronic gadgets like Digital Camers as most of the phones now a days come with a high end digital camera, you dont need a laptop to edit any documents, you can actually do it on your smart Android devices and print that document via bluetooth. There are many more such things that can be done using smart phone and Android helps making things in quick time.
